A Scientist says, “Find me the most famous mimes in the world”

Last updated on September 17, 2019 by Sal Ferrarello

A scientist has a lab that overlooks a park. In the park, he sees the worst mime he has ever seen. This mime flails around and is inconsistent about the objects he pretends to interact with.

The scientist says to his team, “Find me the two most famous mimes in the world.” He gathers together the three mimes: the two famous ones and the awful one from the park. The scientist then pushes all three mimes into a pool.

Apparently, none of these mimes can swim because all three start to drown. The famous mimes make the same moves, it is like a grim version of synchronized swimming, however the awful mime splashes all over the place and at one point is upside down with only his feet sticking out of the water.

The scientist surveys the situation and says, “Aha, just as I expected, great mimes sink alike.”
